The right tools and machine settings<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-730cf28 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget-tablet__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"730cf28\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">We recommend using standard <\/span><strong>screws<\/strong>.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><b><span class=\"citation-11\">Mixing screws<\/span><\/b><span class=\"citation-11 citation-end-11\"> can lead to excessive energy input and negatively affect product properties, which is why the mass temperature must be closely monitored when using them<\/span>.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">We advise against using barrier screws, as they exert increased shear force on the material.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><span class=\"citation-9 citation-end-9\">Due to the reduced processing temperature and the filler, increased injection pressures may occur during injection moulding<\/span>. <span class=\"citation-8 citation-end-8\">This can be compensated for by reducing the injection speed<\/span>. <span class=\"citation-7 citation-end-7\">If the melt is insufficiently melted, you can increase the dosing speed and back pressure or adjust the screw speed to utilise the frictional heat<\/span>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7e2f244 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7e2f244\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">4. 10\u00b0C increments to reduce the cooling time<\/span>. <span class=\"citation-4 citation-end-4\">The hot runner temperature should be between 120\u00b0C and 170\u00b0C<\/span>.<\/p><div class=\"source-inline-chip-container ng-star-inserted\"><p><span class=\"citation-3 citation-end-3\">Tool temperatures may vary depending on the desired result.<\/span>:<\/p><ul><li class=\"source-inline-chip-container ng-star-inserted\">15\u201320\u00b0C: for fast cycle times<\/li><li>20\u201340\u00b0C: for thin-walled items or improved surface finish<\/li><li>40-60\u00b0C: for thin-walled items with long flow paths or compounds with over 45% shell content to achieve good surfaces<\/li><\/ul><p>By following these instructions, you can exploit the full potential of our GC
