Home compostable reusable cup
The coffee mug from our GC green is an absolute prodigy. It is not only sustainable and compostable, but also dishwasher safe. In addition, there is also the possibility for cup-to-cup recycling.

Printing is also possible.
The reusable cup is made using a special two-component process. This means it's made of two parts: a GC green compound with natural fibres as the core and a bio-PBS as the outer layer. This makes it easy to use the cup in the dishwasher over and over again.
Lifetime recycling
The HOMEmug is dishwasher-safe for up to 500 cycles. But what happens afterwards?
Our HOMEmug has two ways:
- It can be re-granulated and made into the product it once was.
- It can be disposed of in home compost and decomposed back into biomass, carbon and water after a few years.
Of course, one way does not exclude the other. In any case, the cup does not leave behind any long-lasting plastic waste.
FAQ
Due to the new bio-waste amendment, these products may not be disposed of in the brown garbage can. Nevertheless, you can safely throw the capsules on your garden compost and bury the plant pots in the soil.
Yes, the mug can withstand approx. 500 cycles in the dishwasher.
