is the main customer for sunflower seeds. These are mainly needed for oil and bread production.

The shell remains,

because the seeds are making their way into the food industry. Until now, there have been hardly any possible applications for the shells.

Golden Compound has the solution

We have found a way to grind the shells and use them as sustainable, long-lasting GC pro materials into conventional, as well as as biodegradable GC green materials into bioplastics.

Our bioplastics have been optimized for injection molding. However, we also already offer extrusion and blow molding grades. Just ask us about it.

Jan was already our strong communicator in Purchasing in 2019. After a short stint in the mechanical engineering industry, he has been part of our team again since July 2023 and is now the contact person for all matters relating to sales, purchasing and the supply chain.

Stephanie has been part of our team since mid-2022. She is an important part of our sales team and takes care of customer communication as well as internal sales activities.

Josephine has been an important member of our team since November 2021. She is responsible for everything related to marketing. She also attends initial sales meetings, which is why you can meet her at trade fairs.

TECHNICAL MANAGER

André started with us as a project engineer and has been involved in lots of different projects and products. He knows a lot about tools, plastics and sales topics. So, he now supports us as technical manager and still helps with the major projects.

Judith has been an integral part of our team since 2020. As a specialist in material design and applied materials, she uses her expertise primarily in material development. New formulations or material adaptations are her strengths.

Jan has been a permanent member of the R&D department since December 2022. He contributes his experience from his studies in materials science and various projects on the subject of biopolymers to the development and optimization of our products.

As a polymer engineer and materials scientist, Rita has been a permanent member of our R&D team since 2023. She accompanies and coordinates the material development for various projects of our customers until they are ready for series production. Her core competencies include sustainability considerations, reliable laboratory activities and forestry topics.
