Customer proximity, practical experience and material expertise - directly at the machine

Personal contact with our customers is much more than just a friendly chat — it's an essential part of how we work. Today, Rita and Josephine are travelling to the Netherlands to support a customer with sampling our sustainable biomaterials on site.

Such visits are standard practice for us, as we can only reach our full potential through direct interaction, ideally at the injection moulding machine.

We will go the extra mile to visit customers, no matter how far that might be.

We offer technical advice, real proximity and tangible added value. Whether degradable materials or robust polypropylene-based solutions, our biocomposites demonstrate their true strength in direct use. That's precisely where we want to be: working alongside our customers in their production facilities to develop the best processes.

There were several things on the agenda for today's muster:

  • Optimise cycle times

  • Analyse processing behaviour

  • Directly evaluate product quality

  • Test alternative recipes live

Rita and Josephine bring their expertise and a variety of materials that can be tested on the spot. This enables our customers to make informed decisions on the same day, without any waiting time or queries.

Practical solutions - live and in colour

Our experience shows that: The best solutions are created when we work together at the machine. This is because parameters such as mould temperature, injection pressure and demoulding behaviour can be assessed much more effectively in a real production environment than remotely.

Another advantage is that our active support saves customers time and resources by reducing the number of test runs required and enabling the right settings to be found much more quickly.

Sustainable materials, tangible results.

For us, on-site support is not an extra, but a promise. We want our customers to be delighted with our materials, not just satisfied.

These include:

  • Short response times

  • Personal contact persons

  • Technical support directly on the machine

  • Joint development of the ideal process

We are where our materials work, alongside our customers.

Today's visit to the Netherlands is not an isolated case, but part of the everyday practice at Golden Compound. Trust is built through proximity and shared successes.

The material could be replaced with previously recycled polypropylene at a 1:1 ratio and achieve almost the same cycle times. Our customer was not the only one delighted with the results. The sampling was therefore highly successful, and we hope to develop a long-term partnership.

Whether in Germany, the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe:
No distance is too far for our customers.

Why you should use compostable products in the living room too

"You can’t put that on the table – it’s compostable!"
We hear statements like this all the time when it comes to biodegradable products such as plant pots. But this common misunderstanding makes many people doubt bioplastics, which is completely unfair. In this article, we explain what biodegradable materials really do, why they do not "disintegrate on their own" and why they are even ideal for indoor use.

(Bio)plastics and water - an ambivalent relationship

On World Environment Day, it is worth thinking about the connection between plastics and water. Not many other materials have such a big effect on our waters – sometimes this effect is bad, but thanks to new bio-based alternatives, it is also becoming more positive.
